The 2017 Washington County Fair Parade float supported Republican office holders and candidates including Senator Lydia Brasch, Public Service Commissioner Tim Schram, State Senator John Murante who is a candidate for State Treasurer, candidate for Secretary of State Bob Evnen, Legislative candidate for District #16 Micheal Dwyer. Republicans were well represented at the 2017 Gateway to the West parade in Blair today. Governor Pete Ricketts, Senator Lydia Brasch, Bob Evnan for Secretary of State, Micheal Dwyer for Legislature, Tim Schram Public Service Commission, Sheriff Mike Robinson, City Councilman Kevin Willis, County Supervisor Lisa Kramer, County Attorney Scott Vander Schaaf and a whole bunch of really great & dedicated volunteers!! The Washington County Republican Party sponsored their annual “Picnic in the Park” following the parade.

The Dywer for Legislature kicked off their campaign at the Blair Chamber of Commerce offices with the endorsements of Senator Lydia Brasch and former Governor Kay Orr. Micheal Dwyer is running for Legislative District #16 seat currently held by Senator Brasch (who is term-limited). Dwyer followed up the Blair kickoff with stops throughout District 16 in Burt and Cumming counties, completing the day with a reception at his photo studio in Arlington.

Please plan to attend our next Washington County Republican Party Central Committee meeting at the NEW Blair Public Library and Technology Center. (Just North of the Hospital; turn north onto Deerfield Drive.

The next County Board meeting is Tuesday, May 9, 2017 beginning at 3:00 PM.
